Digital Climate Group (DCG), the digital investment bank for the future economy, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Zand Bank, an AI and blockchain-powered digital bank in the UAE, to establish a strategic framework for collaboration across digital assets, tokenization, and technology.
The MOU reflects a shared ambition by DCG and Zand Bank to develop innovative, compliant, and scalable financial solutions that connect Japan, Asia, and the Middle East, with a particular focus on regulated digital issuance and real-world asset (RWA) tokenization. The collaboration is intended to support cross-border capital formation by linking high-quality asset origination with institutional liquidity pools.

DCG brings deep experience in sourcing, structuring, and originating RWAs across Japan, wider Asia, and the Middle East, spanning private credit, future-proof infrastructure, and impact-linked assets. Through its technology-enabled origination platform, DCG facilitates institutional-grade digital issuance, lifecycle management, and transparent reporting, supporting both traditional and digital capital markets. By combining DCG’s regional origination capabilities and tokenization expertise with Zand Bank’s regulated digital banking infrastructure and UAE footprint, the collaboration aims to facilitate new investment flows between Japanese, Asian, and Middle Eastern institutions and issuers.
Michael Chan, CEO of Zand, said, “We are excited to partner with Digital Climate Group to further accelerate the UAE’s digital economy by building trusted, regulated rails that connect Asia and the Middle East. Together, we will drive institutional-grade digital issuance and real-world asset tokenization, linking high-quality origination in Japan and wider Asia with liquidity and banking infrastructure across the Middle East. By bringing together innovation and compliance, Zand and DCG aim to unlock new cross-border capital flows, bridge TradFi and DeFi, and deliver transparent, scalable solutions that empower investors, issuers, and the region’s next wave of digital growth.”
Under the MOU, DCG and Zand Bank will explore opportunities for joint business development, as well as collaboration on technology-driven financial infrastructure. Areas of focus include the digital issuance and lifecycle management of financial instruments, tokenization of RWAs - including private credit and funds - and enhanced portfolio monitoring, reporting, and data-sharing frameworks designed to meet institutional and regulatory standards.
“DCG and Zand Bank share a common vision for the future of finance - one that is digital, cross-border, and institutionally robust,” said Julien Martin, Founder and CEO of Digital Climate Group. “This MOU creates a strong foundation to connect high-quality asset origination in Japan, Asia, and the Middle East with regulated digital banking and tokenization infrastructure, unlocking new capital flows across these regions.”
